I am MEP’s Commercial Director and I help guide the business’ vision and operational direction.
I have several years of experience in the hospitality industry involving organising high profile events and conferences, which has given me a unique understanding of corporate client needs, demands and the standards expected. I pride myself on my ability to engage with and work successfully with everyone I come into contact with.
I have tremendous organisational ability which I bring to MEP. Promoting great team spirit is something that is important to me, as well as keeping us focused as a team on a path toward long-term goals whilst boosting morale. In addition, I take great pride in fostering great talent and encourage retention.
Sean Colsey MBA, MSc, MSyl, Operations Director
Prior to joining the Minerva, Sean had a distinguished military career before transitioning to the civilian security sector. Sean has over 25 years of experience in corporate security and has been running his own business for over 20 years.
Throughout his career, Sean has developed a broad range of skills, which culminated in gaining an an MBA in Strategic Management and Leadership and an MSc in Event Project Management, both from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Alison Holmes, Commercial Relationship Manager
I am MEP’s Commercial Relationship Manager with a passion for business development and strategy, as well as training and development. I have extensive experience across various sectors and have a particular interest in identifying skills gaps, creating training pathways, upskilling, and encouraging career development.
I work closely with businesses to identify their training needs and create bespoke training solutions that address those needs effectively. By upskilling their teams, businesses can achieve their goals and objectives while also fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Craig Smith DipHE, CMgr MCMI, Head of Education and Quality Assurance
I’m a highly competent and dedicated individual who has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in security, police practice, and community engagement throughout my career in the West Mercia Police Force.
As a fully qualified teacher / educator, I manage large educational programs in further and higher education, specialising in teaching and delivering topics on security, terrorism, teacher training, and peer mentoring.
Jacki Costello, Office Supervisor - Administration
Hi, I’m Jacki Costello, I’m originally from London but now settled in Herefordshire. I have over 20 years’ experience in education. I now work in administration for MEP, liaising with learners and guiding them towards the higher education courses that MEP provide.
